aging out of the Virginia foster care system.

Fostering Champions is a non-profit that makes the aging out experience better for the 25,000 teens going through it.

Virginia is often regarded as one of the worst states for foster care with a staggering number of over 4,800 children currently trapped within the system. This issue is further exacerbated by the fact that 48% of these children in foster care are 13 years and older, highlighting the urgent need for improved support systems to ensure a brighter future for these vulnerable youth.
